Performance:Very bright Quality:Durable Suitability:Any outdoor or work use! Thank you for the fast delivery!
This headlamp seriously exceeded my expectations. The build quality feels extremely solid and durable right out of the box. It has a premium feel to it and definitely doesn’t come across as cheap or flimsy. The brightness is incredible, and the different lighting modes make it super versatile whether you’re working outside, camping, or just need reliable hands free light. The strap is comfortable and adjustable, and the overall design looks sleek and modern. I also love how compact it is considering how powerful the light output is. Battery life has been great so far too. For the price, this is honestly one of the best value headlamps I’ve used. Nitecore really nailed the balance between performance, quality, and portability. Easily a 5 star product and something I’d recommend to anyone looking for a reliable high quality light.
Excellent WhatsApp inquiry service by Nitecore Sg! I felt very supported, responses were detailed and suggestions were very helpful.
The headlamp was exactly as expected from what was described in the website. Very happy with the purchase.
2 thumbs up for the overall purchasing experience!
I have been using a (now discontinued) ThruNite TH30 V2 headlamp (basically a short flashlight turned on its side), which works pretty well, but runs out of battery after 3 hours of continuous use. Although I still have that headlamp, and although I bought 4 spare batteries for it, I decided that I wanted a headlamp with a broader beam and more battery capacity. My current use-case is working in a crawlspace with very little supplemental lighting. If the headlamp goes out, I will not be lost, but it would be rather inconvenient.I bought the Nitecore HC75 UHE as part of a bundle with two extra batteries. The Nitecore HC75 package is very impressive with a nice case. The usage instructions seem a bit complicated since the functionality is complex. The buttons are a bit difficult to find when the headlamp is on your head, and as one reviewer noted, adjusting the brightness level requires turning off the light entirely as part of the process. If this is your only active light source (e.g. in a cave) then adjusting the brightness could be a terrifying experience. For safety, you should always have another light source available, and turned on if pitch-black is not acceptable. The headband seems okay, but it seems difficult to find a tightness adjustment which does not feel too tight, or become too loose. The headband is well made, but this lamp is rather heavy so it is necessary to adjust the headband so it is secure on one's head. The beam brightness and width are controlled by engaging different sets of LEDs in the LED array. There is no mechanical adjustment. While working in the crawlspace, I have only run this headlamp on maximum brightness. As some other reviewers have noted, the actual brightness dims after a short time. I will try using a lower brightness level and see if the brightness holds-up better. The brightness may hold up better if the energy provided to the LEDs is modulated, but it is not likely to hold up better if the enabled LEDs are still running at max.I almost returned this product because the headlamp was not powering back on after charging with an external charger (Nightcore UMS4). Luckily, I learned that the screw cap needs to be tightened as much as possible. Don't just tighten it until it feels snug. It needs to be tightened as much as the threads allow!
I've had this light a year and I use it daily I rely on it tremendously it has never failed me and it last at least two days before I have to do a full recharge I love it ive gotten it wet almost daily and I start my shift at 1am so it stays on until daylight and on and off through the rest of a twelve hour shift I work in the mining industry so you can probably guess what I put it through.
Have been having a great experience with it! Works very well and very bright, tested it at the rail corridor and it lit up with a very even flood beam! very good for lighting up surrounding areas and useful beam pattern changing although it could have been a further reach would be better
I got this for running sled dogs at night. I mainly run them on residential streets, but trails even in the dark are something we do too. It's best to run in the colder weather, which also means there is more darkness than there is sunlight. This headlamp does a great job extending beyond 3 rows of dogs and then some - even if the photos don't do that justice. When I am running in the city, I keep the beam lower to the ground to not blind oncoming traffic, as well as to highlight the dogs when we have vehicles pass us. The third photo is not highlighting how well the beam extends beyond the group as I was more looking at the dogs than looking beyond them for guidance, but it shows well how nicely this headlamp lights things up. I want to note, however, I run the dogs with this headlamp in the max setting for safety, so battery life is not great. That being said, having extra batteries on hand from the manufacturer and getting the battery packs are a huge asset especially in use in very cold temperatures since the cold can really deplete any battery fast. I also want to note how awesome the reflective is on the headband. While running the dogs in the city, I really try to light myself and the dogs up with hi-viz gear to avoid getting hit. We have lights, we have reflective on all of us, we have bright hi-viz colors - we do everything to be seen to stay safe. The extra reflective on the headband is just another checked box for loving this headlamp. Some mushers have invested in other spotlight headlamps that have absolutely insane pricing on them, but if you are comfortable grabbing extra batteries for this headlamp and keeping the batteries charged and close to your body to keep them a comfortable temperature, this headlamp will meet your needs if you are unable to get the super insanely priced headlamps that may have better battery life in the cold and at high outputs. My usual run is about 25 minutes to 35 minutes each; I can get about a week of high output use out of one full charge in extreme cold. So roughly 175 - 245 minutes of HO use on one battery charge. On trails this headlamp does a nice job highlighting all the deer looking at us from the woods while still lighting up the trail in front of the dogs. We had a deer run out in front of the dogs one night and we were able to see it before we could collide.
This light suprised me, its not big and bulky. Its impressive light weight. Fits hard hat perfectly. The ratching to move it up and down works really nice. Brightness is as advertized. Im liking ease to go full turbo mode with one click or back to normal. Battery seems last long as nitecore make good batteries! * I really most impressed how this seems to have a long throw spot at same time giving you flood lighting also. Nice design!
This is by far the best headlamp I have out of the many I had used. Love the lightness on the forehead when using it for hours and the brightness are fantastic for my works.
I live in Hawaii and use this headlamp to walk our dog in the evening. Prior to getting this light I was using a Olight Perun 2. The Perun 2 was simple to use but I found that due to the almost spotlight beam pattern on the Perun 2 I had trouble seeing centipedes and the occasional scorpion while on our walks, usually by the time I "spot" them, no pun intended, my dog is already in danger of getting stung. One thing you need to know about this light is that it doesn't have a memory mode in which you can resume using your last light settings the next time you turn it on after powering it off. It will default to low power. Also worth noting is that you can only adjust brightness for a brief couple of seconds after turning on the light.I either use low or medium brightness and the full flood pattern which creates a 5ft on low and 10+ft sphere of illumination in the direction your looking, which makes it extremely easy to detect creepy crawlies at night.I'll forgive the clunky user interface and lack of memory because of how great the full flood mode is paired with the battery life, and the comfort surprisingly is actually better than the my Olight! 1000% recommend, I feel much safer and at ease while walking my doggie at night.
Have used this headlamp for several months now and very pleased. Other comments about the weight, but not an issue for me. Light settings easy to adjust and very bright with good distribution. Use the red light when moving around the house at night so don't disturb anyone or wake the dog.
Super bright and the battery last a long time. Being in the trades, I have bought quite a few headlamps over the years. With the quality of this light, I expect that this one will last.
I’m an aircraft mechanic and this light it doesn’t work like I was expecting, I think this light is for runners or, hiking if you looking a light for mechanic I recommended nitcore HC35
This headlamp was procured for professional railroad conductor operations and has consistently demonstrated exceptional efficacy. It exhibits rapid charging capabilities and sustains its charge throughout prolonged shifts, frequently enduring for two to three nights. Its performance is unfailingly reliable, positioning it as an outstanding selection for individuals requiring a dependable headlamp that guarantees uninterrupted illumination. The intuitive press-and-tap functionality for adjusting brightness levels further enhances its convenience.
Best headlamp I’ve ever owned. I use it everyday for work for hours at a time. Battery life is great and love that it has a USB C charge port. It’s light enough that I forget I have it on half the time and the adjustable brightness is perfect! Absolutely worth the money!
Headlight is very bright, the strap is a bit wider so it is more comfortable than most. It is a little bulkier but it’s not uncomfortable, I wear it for most my shift at work. Charging it is nice with the light indicators showing the current charge and it does charge fast. Seems to hold a charge for awhile
The best headlamp I've ever owned, and I currently own three or four. Nice and bright with a wide spread. The case is handy too. The only drawback is the cost, but it's worth it for me.
Man, old man! If you have a reason to have a really good quality long lasting headlight this is it. Mine came with a 5,500 million amp power battery and lasts a long time. Of course the brighter you have it the last time it lasts. It has a very handy useful 3000 lm output on max. Everything from a concentrated beam to flood beam. Super super super handy to me as a truck driver working around the truck at night such as putting on snow chains over Donner pass. Invest in your profession it’s only $100 Ish.
