For security, search and rescue, and outdoor use that needs real reach: 3,300 lumens thrown 705 metres at 124,300 candela, from a 40mm-head light that still rides in a pocket. Built-in USB-C charging on the included 5,300mAh battery, and IP68 sealed for any weather.
A 705-metre beam that cuts through rain, fog and tinted glass, from a light that still rides in your pocket.
The NiteLab UHi 40 LED puts 3,300 lumens and 124,300 candela down a 40mm head, for roughly double the reach of other lights its size.
3,300 lumens with a 705m throw at 124,300 candela
2h 30min of runtime at 1,200 lumens, up to 50 hours on Low
Included 5,300mAh NL2153HP 21700 battery
Built-in USB-C charging, flat to full in about 3h 30min
Detachable two-way pocket clip and Gen2 holster included
Five brightness levels plus Strobe, SOS and Beacon
IP68 sealed to 2m, 1m impact resistant, 130g without battery
Reach across a car park, a field or a treeline in one press.
The MH25 Pro concentrates 3,300 lumens into a 705-metre beam at 124,300 candela, so light lands hard on a target seven football pitches away. That candela is what puts usable light on a distant figure or sign, where a pure flood beam would wash out long before it got there.
It carries that reach in a 40mm-head body that still slips into a pocket, so the long look stays as easy to carry as an everyday light.
One light for the close work and the far look.
High at 1,200 lumens runs 2 hours 30 minutes and still throws 443 metres, which covers a full patrol or a long search on a single charge. Mid at 300 lumens stretches that to 7h 30min for general tasks.
Drop to Low at 50 lumens and it runs 50 hours, or Ultralow at 1 lumen for 650 hours, so the same light handles a vehicle stop, a perimeter scan and days of standby between charges.
A round LED matched to a round reflector.
The NiteLab UHi 40 LED has a round light-emitting surface that pairs cleanly with the precision smooth reflector, so more of the output is converted into a tight, bright hotspot. That clean hotspot is what lets you pick out and identify a target at distance quickly.
It is one of the smallest and most efficient long-throw LEDs of its class, which is how a 40mm head reaches 705 metres at all.
See your level and your charge at a glance.
The side panel carries two rows of indicator lights. One shows the brightness level you are on, the other shows how much battery you have left, so you know where you stand before a shift rather than guessing in the dark.
Five brightness levels run from a 1-lumen Ultralow up to 3,300-lumen Turbo, with Strobe, SOS and Beacon a press away when you need to signal or disorient.
A tactical tail switch and a side mode button.
The tail switch handles on, off and momentary-on, so a half-press throws instant light for a quick check and a full press locks it on. The side button steps through the brightness levels and reaches the special modes, all from one hand.
Tactical Mode and Daily Mode let you set the light up the way you work. Tactical Mode jumps straight to full output for an instant high on a vehicle stop, while Daily Mode steps up gently for close work and everyday carry.
The U-shape tail cap helps guard against accidental activation in a pocket or bag, lets the light tail-stand for hands-free area lighting, and takes the lanyard for an easy carry.
A proximity sensor that protects your kit.
A built-in optical sensor lowers the output when it detects something close in front of the head, then brings it back up the moment the way is clear. It keeps the MH25 Pro from scorching a pocket, a bag or a sleeve when it is left running against fabric.
Advanced Temperature Regulation works the other side of the same problem, easing high output down as the head warms so the light protects its LED and stays comfortable to hold.
A grip that holds in the wet and with gloves on.
The body is CNC machined from aero-grade aluminium alloy with a cross-diagonal knurling cut 1mm deep, so it stays put in a wet hand or in gloves rather than turning in your grip. That matters when you are working a vehicle stop in the rain or scanning a treeline in the cold.
Sealed to IP68 for 2-metre submersion and rated to a 1-metre drop, it keeps working through rain, dust and the odd knock on duty or on the trail.
Recharge straight from the body over USB-C.
The built-in USB-C port takes the 5,300mAh battery from flat to full in about 3 hours 30 minutes, from a wall plug, a laptop or a power bank. There is no separate charger to carry and no cell to pull out for a quick top-up between shifts.
The 21700 cell still unscrews from the tube, so a charged spare drops in for an instant swap when a long search runs past one charge. The same cell that drives the long-throw beam also delivers the long Low and Ultralow runtimes, so a single charge covers a long night of work.
WHY THE MH25 PRO OVER AN ORDINARY HIGH-LUMEN LIGHT
Reach, not just brightness
124,300 candela puts light 705m downrange, where a high-lumen flood beam fades out long before the target.
Throw from a pocket size
A 40mm head reaches roughly twice the distance of other lights its size, with no full-size searchlight to lug.
Charge with no extras
Built-in USB-C refills the included 5,300mAh cell in about 3h 30min, so there is no charger or spare cell to source.
Sealed for any weather
IP68 to 2m and a 1m drop rating keep it running through rain, dust and a dropped-in-the-creek moment.

*Turbo is a burst output
Turbo at 3,300 lumens is a high-output burst; Advanced Temperature Regulation steps output down as the head warms to protect the LED. High at 1,200 lumens is the level for sustained work. All figures are certified to the ANSI/PLATO FL1 2019 standard.
The MH25 Pro ships with the NL2153HP 5,300mAh 21700 cell, rated to 20A continuous discharge. For a spare of the same type, view it here.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can it hold 3,300 lumens the whole time?
Turbo at 3,300 lumens is a burst. Advanced Temperature Regulation steps the output down as the head warms to protect the LED and keep the body comfortable to hold. For sustained output, High runs 1,200 lumens for 2 hours 30 minutes.
Will an 18650 battery fit it?
No. The MH25 Pro runs on a single 21700 cell rated over 15A, and ships with the NL2153HP 5,300mAh. An 18650, a CR123 or a low-discharge cell will not run it, so keep to a high-drain 21700.
Can I leave it switched on inside a bag or pocket?
The proximity sensor lowers the output when it senses something close in front of the head, so the light will not scorch fabric if it is left running against a pocket or bag. For storage, the U-shape tail cap also helps guard against the switch being pressed by accident.

Quality:good Performance:good The torchlight is durable and well-built. Have been using the torch light at work and it works well. Also like the usb-c feature.
Great outdoor torch light. The lowest intensity setting is enough for most applications, the highest settings make night to day. Tried it out along rail corridor but only for short time and then let nature be alone again.
Best flashlight I've ever owned. And I've got 5 Fenix and 3 nitecore 2 Mag Light and 1 Streamlight. Honestly, they all suck compared to this one. Throw and beam spill are perfect. Anything with a longer throw has too large of a head or require 2 21700 batteries.
Using while working on my niteshift.Shining so bright,i just love the simple high illumination on the work place i’m performing. Its an Embraer aircraft & i’m doing a battery change under the nose of the aircraft. With this nitecore torch light it just lights up my working life.Thank You so much !
The M25pro is an impressive device that has garnered a lot of excitement from users. It boasts powerful performance specifications, making it a reliable choice for various tasks. One of its standout features is the remarkable distance it can cover, which enhances its versatility for different applications. If you're considering upgrading or gifting a new device, the M25pro is worth looking into. Check out its specifications and see how it can meet your needs!
I love the size which is pocketable, but yet packs a powerful light! Not to mention a very long running time with 1000 lumens. I also own the more compact MT2A Pro which is also an excellent flashlight!
The MH12 Pro is very well-built, feels solid, and the light output is a mesmerizing display of current LED technology. This light comes with the UHi 40, which is a big step up compared to other LEDs. These little LEDs in a flashlight have massive amounts of throw; they can reach out far but still have very usable flood to see your near surroundings.About the MH12 Pro itself, it has a sturdy, well-made feel to it with a simple UI (user interface). You use the tail switch to turn it off/on, and you change output levels with the side button near the head of the light. On either side of the output change button, there are tiny blue and green light meters that tell you what output mode you're in and how much power your battery has remaining. The MH12 Pro may be a little too big for some for everyday carry, but that depends on the person. It's not too large for me, but that is subjective.it's one light of many in my collection that I would grab first to walk at night or really any night activity where a light is needed, especially if you like to look at things off in the distance.
Love the grip of the torch and its ability to reach a distance of 705 metres on turbo (3300 lumens). The brightness and power indicators are extremely useful. 👍
Fast delivery and items received as per advertised. Looks sturdy and durable but only time will tell. It’s a little pricey as compared to other sites selling the same product.
This light impresses me due to its versatility, and ability to act as a high-power spotlight. You can see from the photo how crazy the throw is, while still offering an impressive flood. Combining the long run times, USB-C, and small form factor, I won't be needing anything else! (Be aware, this light gets hot!)
I use it at work and as you can see it gets nasty. It’s light weight durable and works every time. The charge is alright. A full charge will last me about two days depending on how often I really use it. Over all it’s worth it.
I will start this review with the caveat that my experience with high performance flashlights is very minimal. I purchased this for an upgrade to my old dim halogen and bargain bin LED flashlights we used only for emergencies. I figured I should have a QUALITY light for any real emergency. So let me start off with my first impressions. Light feels solid in hand, it has a nice weight to it. The finish is a bit slippery though which caused me to drop it when trying to take it out of my pocket. It landed hard on the pavement in my driveway and sustained only the smallest of dings. I was surprised how well it stood up to it. Now for the performance, I was absolutely blown away. I can shine this and light up treetops 100+ yards away like it’s daytime. The beam is very focused but there is still adequate “flood” to it to see more than what’s just directly in front of you. Even on the low setting, the light reaches out quite a distance. However in that setting there is very little flood. I’d say medium is the best setting for navigating outside at night while maintaining good battery life. Overall VERY impressed with this light. Only downside I can see is the very short duration of Turbo mode but that isn’t exclusive to this light from what I’ve seen. It comes with any super bright compact flashlight. Overall I’d 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a solid “do it all” light for emergencies or “tactical use” (or even if you are just amused by bright flashlights like I now am)
Super bright flashlight that can be used in so many scenarios. Has a pretty good sized throw and a crazy bright hot spot. I really like Nitecore products, and this flashlight did not disappoint. Very high quality build and the knurling on the handle is super coarse but not rough. Light has 5 stages of brightness that even at lowest setting is pretty bright. Video doesn't do this product justice since phones like to auto adjust exposure levels, but it is very bright and well illuminating. Haven't ran it for a long enough period to see how hot it gets, but with high wattage single led chips I'm sure it gets pretty warm after a long use.
In the box you bet 1 21700 battery, the flashlight itself, charging cable, battery case, and a light holster that should work with any belt or molle system. You get 5 brightness settings ultra low, low, medium, high, and turbo. Turbo is really just for tactical situations where you may need to disorient a target so the short batterry runtime and high heat output is not an issue in turbo mode. In high mode (1200 lumen) you should get about 4 hours which is plenty of run time. Personally medium (8 hours) is plenty bright for me. You also get some cool features like sos, beacon, and a tactical mode that simplifies the opperations and settings. Tailcap works as a constant and momentary on. Button on the body controls light output as well as a few other features. I liked the battery indicator and brightness indicator lights on the side of the head. All in for $90 I think this is a great light!
This light is bright! And I do mean bright! I have a couple other lights from other manufacturers that I thought were pretty bright, but they can't compare to the MH25. I have about 125 yds from my house to my shop. This light is so bright, I can see the leaves on the cement using the most powerful setting. ( See Pictures ). Can't do this with my other lights. I think if I was being stalked by any predator, mountain lion or man, this light would blind them and give me a huge tactile advantage. I probably won't go beyond the #2 setting on the light for 99% of my uses, but it will be nice to know that I can if needed. As for the light, it is well constructed, feels very solid, and the grip works great even with gloves on. Yes, it does get hot if used on full power, and the light does have a slight green tint to it. I didn't notice the color until I compared side by side. But these are non-issues for me. And having the circular light pattern is a big plus! I was always adjusting my other light between a tight and medium size square pattern depending on my location. With the circular pattern I get both patterns at the same time. Makes life easier!
This will be used as a general-purpose flashlight. It is solid, heavy, and appears to be high quality. Overall, very impressive. It throws an intense narrow beam surrounded by a less bright circle. (See photo).Pros:This thing is bright!Four brightness settings.Rechargeable.Indicator lights for brightness and charging level.Anodized aluminum body.IP 68 Waterproof.Cons:The front of the flashlight gets hot on the highest brightness setting. Not a big deal as this setting would only be used briefly.
I've had a chance to play with this flashlight today and tonight, and it's super bright. I could shine it to the end of our street and see nearly everything.25+ years ago, a buddy had a large flashlight that took 6 D-Cell batteries - we called it "the light of Woah!" because when you'd turn it on, everyone around would yell out Woah due to the brightness.THIS light is brighter than that on its 2nd setting and does more tricks. There's 4 levels of bright, and a strobe.I left it on for nearly an hour on the brightest setting - the battery from full charge went to about 1/2 charge. The light got noticeably hot, but never the brightness never degraded. The holder for it is decent quality.I've sent the link to several friends - some are Police Officers, and they are ordering theirs.
This is a lightweight, durable flashlight that has 2 different modes and 4 levels of lighting, plus a strobe/SOS function. The light is bright white, and that makes it easier to see things. It lights up the surrounding area, not just where you are pointing the light, which is helpful when you're walking through trees and bushes. My neighborhood experienced a blackout recently, and this flashlight definitely came in handy. I can't decide if I want to keep it in my house or in the car - I should probably get another one so I can have a flashlight in each place.
I've been a Nitecore fan for several years. For me they have always been the competition other big name brands like Stre*mlig*t or F*nix never saw coming. Every Nitecore light has been excellent. Bright, well made, tough, intuitive and definitely in that category of "quality" lights. This is the good stuff. I trust these lights and use them for Search and Rescue operations. Now this MH25 is a beefy and super bright light. As you can see, it's not the smaller size but it's also not huge. It feels good in your hands and has enough texture to ensure even with thick gloves it's not going anywhere. There is a tail switch that allows you to turn the light on and off as well as half click. The switch on the side lets you toggle light modes and there are charge indicator leds as well as light mode leds. The charge indicator is a nice add since typically what Nitecore does is give you a blink pattern to tell you battery level. This light is BRIGHT. I thought it was bright on HIGH and then hit TURBO and was blown away. Lit up a tree that was several blocks away like I was standing under it. There is a flash mode that can be activated as a "safety". Now I have had lights like that and the flash has always been kind of eh.. ok. This almost disoriented me just flashing it at our front door. Really amazing. It comes with a BigA battery, charging cable, clip, lanyard and a case, which I really like. This will be replacing my other light for SAR type endeavors. Super happy with this light.
Fast shipping and items are well packed. The bundles was a great essential for those looking for a good flood lights and portability. Will use it for my next wild life adventure.
Feels good like the mh12v2 I have, the batt level and mode display is definitely a great feature makes continuous usage. Love the new machining on it and the new holster is pretty interesting. However, the hot spot seem to be a little more prominent than the mh12v2.
A powerful light that suits every purpose. The beam is bright with a strong hotspot and a blinding strobe mode. The light is rather lengthy, but an average to large man’s hand should be able to hammer-fist the light such that both tail and side button are usable at the same time. Really love the light’s mode-memory function, which applies to strobe as well.
The holster works surprisingly well, and allows a fast draw as needed.
The free gifts are amazing; binoculars are clear and comfortable to use, and the pouch neatly stores everything I need. The TIKI light (has UV and other modes too) is an absolute wonder - truly a tiny but strong light that fits anywhere.
9/10 light (only because of the length. 1cm shorter would make a significant difference). Absolutely recommend.
Powerful and convenient
I purchased the mh12 v2 from nitecore and have been very happy with it. I use it for inspecting building renovations at night, walking the dog. And I keep it by the front door in case I need to check anything around the property. I originally purchased the light for hiking and I look forward to using it for that. Recommended.
First Nitcore Torchlight-AWSOME!
I bought the MH12V2 pack which comes with freebies of BAK7 Binoculars, TIKI light and NUP30 pouch. Very good purchase. The quality of the products are very good and durable. I recommend it to my friends. MJ was very accommodating and easy to contact to. I put the wrong promo code and told him my concern, later that day he addressed my concern and rectified my order just like that. I never regret my first order with Nitcore. Looking forward for future purchase. AWSOME!
MH12 V2 - 1200 lumens
With a pop up on /off button at the back tip of the end cap and light mode selection button at the front, it is easier to operate this flash light. Not an issue with gloves on. As a tactical flash light, the overall length, when held in your hand provides the ease to operate. The extended extra run time at 1200 lumens is of course a plus to this upgraded version.
