The First MagnaCut Blade in a Multi-Tool
MagnaCut is the steel knife makers moved to because it ends an old trade-off: it holds a working edge longer than traditional stainless steels and still shrugs off rust and stains. The ARC is the first multi-tool to carry it.
The 7.0 cm blade is PVD-coated and opens with a thumb stud in one motion. Humid gear rooms, sea air and sweaty pockets are exactly the conditions it was chosen for.
The frame backs it up: 420 stainless steel with a DLC coating on the black handle scales, chosen for corrosion resistance and long-term wear. It comes in two finishes: the original black DLC and stainless, or the ARC Talos with ultra-durable Cerakote handles.
One Hand, Any Tool, Eyes on the Job
FREE® magnetic architecture holds the handles closed and releases each tool with light thumb pressure, straight from the outside of the frame.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does the ARC come with a sheath or pouch?
The ARC ships with its pocket clip fitted, and that is how most owners carry it. Leatherman's nylon sheaths and other accessories are sold separately, so add one if you prefer belt carry.
What bits do the drivers take?
The large bit driver ships with a double-ended Phillips #1-2 and 3/16 inch flat bit, and it accepts Leatherman's flat double-ended bits. It is fully compatible with the Leatherman Bit Kit, sold separately, which adds the common Torx, hex and Phillips sizes.
What happens when the wire cutters wear out?
Both the regular and hard-wire cutters are replaceable inserts rather than a machined part of the plier head. When years of fencing wire and cable ties finally dull them, replacement inserts are available separately and swap in, keeping the tool in service for the long haul.
