- Runs on one 18650 or two CR123 cells
- 250g without battery, 152.2mm long

Certified explosion-proof, not just rugged.
The EF1 carries an Ex d IIC T5 Gb mark, accredited by the PCEC, the Tianjin Supervision and Test Center of Ex-products of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry. The flameproof enclosure contains any internal spark so it cannot reach the flammable gas or dust around it.
That clears it for Zone 1 and Zone 2 work, across gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC and temperature classes T1 to T5, the same GB3836 rating that lets it serve land and marine petroleum, petrochemical and chemical sites where an ordinary light is a risk you cannot take.

830 lumens, three levels, and a beam that carries.
A CREE XM-L2 U3 LED puts out up to 830 lumens, with an integrated Precision Digital Optics reflector that pushes the beam to 270 metres and 18,300 candela. That reaches well across a tank farm, a tunnel face or a deck at night.
Step down to 320 lumens for working light or 4 lumens for close, lasting tasks. The LED is rated for 50,000 hours, so it sees out the life of the light.
A sliding switch you can read by feel, even in gloves.
The control collar slides between four marked positions: 0 for standby, 1 for Low, 2 for Mid and 3 for High. You change brightness one-handed without hunting through a mode cycle, and the detents are large enough to find with a gloved thumb in the dark. Advanced Temperature Regulation watches the body temperature and trims the output to keep it stable and safe through a long run.

Runs on the cells you can already source.
The EF1 takes a single 18650 Li-ion cell or two CR123 batteries, so you can keep it running on common, easy-to-stock power. It also accepts a single CR123 (3V) or RCR123 (3.7V) cell when that is what you have on hand.
On an 18650 you get 1 hour 45 minutes on High, 3 hours on Mid and 150 hours on Low. The battery and charger are not included, which lets you match the cells to your own kit.

Built like a tank for the worst conditions.
A 10mm-thick epoxy resin explosion-suppressive optical lens sits over a 3mm aerospace-grade aluminium body, 20 percent thicker than an ordinary flashlight. A robust HAIII military-grade hard-anodized finish guards it against corrosion in damp, heat and other harsh settings.
It is sealed to IP67 against dust and water and survives a 1.5 metre drop, so it keeps working through the knocks and wet of an industrial shift.
WHY THE EF1 OVER AN ORDINARY LIGHT
An Ex d IIC T5 Gb mark means its flameproof enclosure contains any spark, where an ordinary light is an ignition source you cannot risk.
A 10mm epoxy resin lens and a 3mm aluminium body that is 20% thicker than usual shrug off the knocks of industrial work.
Dust and water sealed and impact resistant to 1.5 m, it keeps going through wet, grime and rough handling.
The marked sliding switch changes brightness with one gloved hand, no mode cycling in a hazardous space.
WHERE THE EF1 WORKS
Rigs, tank farms and vessels where flammable vapour rules out any light that can spark.
Plants handling solvents and reactive dusts, especially in production, storage and transport areas.
Railway tunnels, culverts and mine work where gas or dust can build up underground.
Electricity, smelting, ports and civil construction sites that need a certified, rugged light.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It certifies the EF1 as flameproof: its enclosure is built to contain any internal spark or flame so it cannot ignite the explosive gas atmosphere around it, across gas groups up to IIC, with a surface temperature held within class T5. In plain terms, it is cleared for the Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas where an ordinary flashlight is an ignition risk.
The EF1 runs on a single 18650 Li-ion cell or two CR123 batteries, and also accepts a single CR123 (3V) or RCR123 (3.7V). The battery and charger are not included, so you can match the cells to your own kit. Note the on-body marking: change batteries only in a secured, non-hazardous environment.
It pairs a 10mm epoxy resin explosion-suppressive lens with a 3mm aerospace-grade aluminium body that is 20% thicker than an ordinary light, finished in HAIII military-grade hard anodizing. It is sealed to IP67 against dust and water and rated to survive a 1.5 metre drop.
