Most headlamps give you a single tint. The HA27 UHE switches between warm, neutral and cool at the press of a button, so you match the light to fog, technical ground or an open road.

The detachable case takes the rechargeable HLB1500 pack or three standard AAA cells. Drop in alkalines from any shop when you are far from a charger.

MCT UHE LEDs: three light qualities from one array.
The HA27 UHE carries four dual-core MCT (Multiple Colour Temperatures) UHE LEDs. Each core is tuned differently, so a single array produces warm 3000K at CRI 97, neutral 4500K at CRI 83 and cool 6500K at CRI 73.
Warm light cuts through rain, fog and snowfall and renders colour accurately. Neutral suits steep, muddy and stream-crossed terrain. Cool gives you the most brightness and the longest runtime for camp and open-road running.

The unibody multi-faceted lens system passes over 94% of the light it is given, drawing on a 730mm² reflective surface and a 48.6mm light-emitting surface.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I keep working while the battery pack charges?
The HLB1500 pack recharges over USB-C inside the detachable case. Because the case also takes three AAA cells, you can carry a spare set and swap them in to stay lit while the pack tops up on a power bank or wall charger. That keeps a powered option in your hand on multi-day trips, even far from a charger.
How do I stop it switching on inside my pack?
Hold the power button for two seconds to engage lockout mode. The lamp ignores button presses until you unlock it, so it will not drain in your bag or pocket. Repeat the two-second hold to wake it.
Does runtime change between the HLB1500 pack and AAA batteries?
Yes. On the HLB1500 pack, Low runs 15 hours and Ultralow up to 65 hours. On three AAA alkalines, Low runs 9 hours and Ultralow up to 52 hours, and Turbo is not available. The full figures for both are in the Output and Runtime tables above.
