How do I fill the tubes?
Simply remove the sliding clip on the end of the tube, fill with desired amount, and replace clip.
Can I fill the tubes with other contents?
We have designed the toothpaste tubes for toothpaste, and they are tested to perform with toothpaste. The tube might not be compatible with low viscosity liquids. Always squeeze to test bottles after filling.
Will toothpaste dry out in the tubes?
No, toothpaste will not dry out. The tubes are built with a 3-layer construction that includes a vapor barrier to keep your contents fresh.
How much pressure will the Refillable Toothpaste Tube withstand?
The Refillable Toothpaste Tube is tested up to 200lbs of squeeze force when filled with toothpaste and is designed to withstand being squished during travel.
How many toothpaste applications fit in the 1 and 2 week tubes?
We established each toothpaste application to weigh 1.5-2 grams—a generous, full toothbrush bristle length application. The 2 week tube holds a little over 30 applications, and the 1 week holds approximately 20 applications.
The length of time the tube contents last is highly individual, and depends on many factors including how completely the tube is filled. However, we surveyed many people and measured based on the highest volume toothpaste consumers in the sample group to establish a dependable volume of toothpaste for most customers that brush their teeth 2-3 times a day.
Why is the 2 week tube not double the volume of the 1 week tube?
The tubes hold some extra toothpaste in addition to the 1 and 2 week volumes because it makes them easier to use when squeezed. Each tube has an equal amount of extra space for people that brush more than 2 times per day.

Nice product. This is an interesting product. I’ve used it at home and I like it a lot. The opening is a much better size than the standard toothpaste container. These squirt out a much better amount that is usable and limits waste. Next month they will come with me on an overseas trip. I decided to mix up the cap and end so I can easily see if a cap is on or off.

Incredibly Receptive Customer Support. The white reusable toothpaste tube clip broke apart on my first time filling it. The cap also broke after a day or two. I reached out to customer service who offered helpful tips on filling the tubes in the future and sent me new tubes. Shaira was a huge help and I received my new tubes today. I had no issues with the black one and I love the product itself.

Just what the wifey needed. In a world of bougie boutique toothpastes that don’t come in travel sizes, this was the perfect fit. These refillable tubes are fantastic for toothpaste, lotion, Vaseline, and other liquids! They are small bur will last an entire week - if you get 4! Great product!

Great concept and great product. I love the concept and the product! I really dislike buying those little tubes of toothpaste for traveling. They are so wasteful. Plus I never know if I have enough left for my next trip so I have to buy a new full one just to be sure. But with this refillable tube, I never have to worry if there’s enough - I just add more and fill it back up. I used the small (white) one on a recent two-week trip and even though it says it’s for one week, it easily lasted two weeks with more to spare (I don’t use much toothpaste, only a small pea-size). Plus, I use specialty toothpaste that does not come in small travel tubes so this is perfect! My plan is to use the rest up at home, then clean and wash it out, then be ready for my next trip with fresh toothpaste. It’s a little tricky sliding the slider on and off, but it’s manageable. I’m so happy I found this product.
Almost There…. I really like the concept of this and appreciate the two sizes. I haven’t traveled with it yet so I can’t speak to how well it holds up under pressure. However, my initial take did reveal some concerns. It was almost impossible to remove the clamping piece and for somebody like myself who is in the early stages of arthritis I hope that it gets easier with time. I think the product would be better if the closing device clamped on and then rolled up.
I have two sets and they work great for all my liquids to fit in a smaller dopp kit. I use the black ones for toothpaste and lotion (the lotion goes in my work tech kit), then the white ones for face moisturizer and auqafor. Honestly the best way to bring along these items without taking up too much space.
Pretty Good But Could Be Better. These are pretty good. But I feel like they could be better. For one thing, they are just thin plastic. The slide part is hard to get off and hurts my fingers to do so. I wish it was more like a slide and it would also squeeze the product down. The other thing is that it’s only supposed to be used for toothpaste. And I think it should be more versatile. Like if it could be used for lotion that would be great. I think there is just a lot more that could be done with these and overall, it doesn’t meet my expectations.

Not Just for Toothpaste. These tubes have held up extremely well over years and countless trips. I love them. Also: I put things in them sometimes that aren't toothpaste, because I love the design so much! So I have one filled with toothpaste and the other filled with face wash. After using these for years, I'm ordering a second pair to use for my shampoo and conditioner because I like them way better than any other reusable travel tube I've ever used. Everything leaks eventually, but not these bad boys!

Great product but…. I have been looking for a product like this for ages for my toothpaste and other products so I don’t have to keep buying small tubes of the products. I have used the larger black one during a few trips no problem but when I recently used the smaller white tube, the cap broke and the tube contents leaked out. I was traveling carry on so it’s not like the bag was handled roughly. Disappointed in the quality of the smaller cap but it’s the first Matador product I have used that has not been excellent so I’m hoping it was just a manufacturing error with this one cap!
Great substitution to small toothpaste tubes. Great solution to small toothpaste tubes. I'm glad that I can finally stop buying the little toothpaste tubes and also bring higher quality toothpaste. I'm switching over to Sensodyne after learning that some of the other brands can cause canker sores (I'm more prone to them when I travel due to sleep disruption). With these tubes, it's not really easy to bring with me as I only bring carry ons.
