FAQ
How is the FlatPak Zipper Toiletry Case V2 different from the original? FlatPak V2 features a thicker, more durable fabric for improved structure and long-term performance. We also widened the profile slightly to better accommodate longer items like electric toothbrushes while maintaining the same ultralight, space-saving design.
How water-resistant is the FlatPak™ Zipper Toiletry Case? The FlatPak™ Zipper Toiletry Case is highly water and leak-resistant, not fully waterproof. Welded seams and a sealing zipper protect against spills, splashes, sink-side drips, and rain — but it’s not designed for submersion like the FlatPak™ Waterproof Toiletry Case.
Will it contain leaks from toiletries inside my bag? Yes. The welded construction and sealing zipper help contain common leaks from loose caps or pressure changes, keeping spills from spreading through your pack.
What is Dry-Through™ Technology? Dry-Through™ Technology allows moisture vapor to escape while blocking liquid water. This lets items like toothbrushes and razors dry naturally inside the case without letting spills or splashes in or out.
Is the case rigid or flexible? It’s intentionally soft, flexible, and ultralight. The FlatPak™ Zipper Toiletry Case molds to what you pack and compresses as contents change — saving space compared to hard or structured toiletry bags.
Does this product have a warranty? Yes, this product is warrantied for 1 year.

Light, slim, simple, but finishing could be better. It's a very simple, but practical pouch for toiletries, and I appreciate its light weight. The zipper is nice and smooth as well. And I always appreciate the "hand feel" of Matador's materials. Though, the carry loop is slightly misaligned from the corner, which is rather disappointing. Thus I wish the finishing quality would have been higher.
I appreciate how lightweight this is compared to traditional toiletry bags. It fits everything I need without taking up unnecessary space, and because it's flexible, it adapts depending on how much I'm carrying. After months of travel, it's held up really well and still looks almost new.
Small but mighty. I purchased this toiletry case to separate my daughter's liquid and non-liquid items in her carry-on. On its own, it would not fit all her items but as a supplemental case, it worked perfectly. She has also used it to hold wet swimwear. It's a breeze to clean and hardly takes up any space when not in use. If you use few toiletries, this could be your one and done bag. Otherwise, it's a great pack for overflow or to corral loose items.
The material was superb! and I love the travel size and how it hooks easily, the only thing I’d say is make better use of the bag it comes with when traveling or be careful when hooking it to the outside of your bag- if it gets bumped it makes for a messy cleanup!
Its a nice little bag, well constructed and a nice approach for those with a more minimal dopp kit. The dry-thru technology is next level, and truly superior to anything out there. While some may say, I can do the same with a gallon ziplock baggie, that same ziplock will be musty if not moldy while my Matador is dry.
FlatPak Toiletry Case. When I saw Matador offered the FlatPak Toiletry Case in orange I had to order it! I love the color and the quality is top notch.
Please offer the toiletry bottle in orange too.
I am very pleased with my new toiletry case. I use it to keep my wet swimsuit in after I get out of the water. The fabric keeps my backpack dry and airs my suit.
triples is safe. This is the second FlatPak case I’ve bought, totally unnecessarily; the first one is going strong and shows next to no signs of wear after being my sole dopp kit for years of travel. But a rare Matador sale convinced me to pick up a backup, just in case my current one ever gives up the ghost or I accidentally leave it behind somewhere. Cannot imagine using a different toiletry kit than this one—it eliminates all of the problems similar products encounter, plus it’s sturdy, lightweight, and fast-drying.
Must buy if you do a lot of traveling/camping. I got the color in Garnet. Let me just start off by saying how beautiful the color is. It's a very deep maroon color. It looks so luxurious. The material is top notch as well. Super sturdy. It can fit a lot of stuff as well! I use mine as a toiletry bag for when I am traveling or going camping. It fits: toothbrush case (it fits, but I also bought the matador toothbrush cap so I use that instead), travel sized toothpaste, 4x 1oz containers, a bundle of qtips, a collapsible hair brush, and FlatPak toiletry bottles 3pack. I am simply in love with this case and feel like this was absolutely perfect for me. Oh it also stands up on its own and it does lay down fairly flat which I also love.
Simple, no frills, technically advanced. Simple, no frills, but technically advanced, the FlatPak™ Zipper Toiletry Case, does what it’s purported to do—allow contents to dry, alleviating the often gooey mess left inside one’s kit when traveling. Well done Matador!
Perfect travel organizer. I know this is technically a toiletry case but I have a couple I use to keep things separate in my tote bag. I always throw a few empty ones in my suitcase too in case I need a pouch for something. Super handy!
