The WDB05 carries an IPX5 water rating, so it shrugs off rain, spray, fog and snow from any direction. The body is built from 500D TPU lightweight and waterproof composite fabric, ideal for trekking, water sports and other outdoor activities, where an ordinary bag soaks through.
An intensified, watertight roll-top closure seals the opening. Roll the top over itself three or more times and clip the buckle, and rain on a wet deck or a sudden downpour stays on the outside where it belongs. It is rated for splash, spray and weather rather than diving, so it sheds water without being held underwater.

How waterproof is it? Can I submerge it?
The WDB05 carries an IPX5 rating, so it is protected against rain, spray, fog, snow and water jets from any direction. Roll the top down at least three times and clip the buckle, and your gear stays dry on a kayak, a beach or a wet deck. IPX5 is a splash and jet rating rather than a submersion rating, so it is not made to be held underwater for long periods.
Does it really float, and how do I seal it so it does?
Yes. Fill it no higher than the fill line, press out most of the air so a little stays trapped inside, fold the top over itself three or more times, then clip the UTX buckle. The trapped air is what lets it float, so a slip off the kayak keeps your kit on the surface. The more turns you roll, the better the seal.
What fits in 5 litres, and how do I clean it?
Plenty for a day out: a towel, a change of clothes, a phone, a wallet, keys, sunglasses and snacks, or a wetsuit and soaked gear on the way home. It is a day-trip size rather than a multi-day pack. To clean it, rinse with fresh water, wipe down the TPU body, and leave it open to air-dry fully before rolling it away.
