The dual YKK zippers run two-way and smooth, so you open the bag from either side and reach straight in. The quick-adjust shoulder strap sizes with one hand, letting you tighten it for a brisk walk or let it out over a jacket as you keep moving.

Nitecore does not publish a water rating for the SLB08, so treat it as a fair-weather everyday sling and keep anything delicate tucked in the inner compartment in heavy rain. To clean it, wipe the 500D nylon down with a damp cloth, keep the YKK zippers clear of grit and let it air dry fully before folding it away.
