What to do
Make sure to tighten every screw thread before operation as any loosened threads can cause failure or poor illumination. Make sure to wipe the screw threads with a clean cloth followed by a thin coating of silicon-based lubricant every 6 months. NOTE: DO NOT use petroleum-based lubricants as they may damage the O-rings and void the product warranty.
What to avoid
Avoid exposing your eyes directly to the LED. Intense bright light can damage your eyes. Avoid running your flashlight over its intended voltage. Doing so might damage its circuits. Avoid inserting the battery in reverse as it will damage its circuits. When inserting battery, make sure the + is pointing towards the flashlight head. Avoid rapid change of temperatures when operating your light. Avoid using ice to cool your light after running it for extended periods. Avoid storing your flashlight in high-temperature environments. Remove batteries and store them in a cool and dry place for extended periods of non-use.
